When, where, and how to park

WHERE. PHREND is taking place at Stevenson College at UCSC in the Stevenson Fireside Lounge. Here are a picture an a map showing where the Fireside Lounge is:

WHEN. PHREND is taking place on Saturday, September 24, 2016. There will be coffee and light breakfast in the Stevenson Fireside Lounge starting at 9:30 a.m. The workshop ends at 4:30 p.m., but will be followed by a reception open to all workshop attendees (both speakers and audience members).

PARKING. We recommend that you park in the Cowell/Stevenson parking lot, which is on Cowell-Stevenson Road off of McLaughlin Drive. There is a $4 flat rate for a permit that is valid from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. You can purchase a permit at the paystation in the lot. The paystation is a small automatic permit dispenser that is clearly visible when you turn in toward Stevenson off of McLaughlin Drive. The paystation takes cards only.

PHREND (PHonology Research weekEND), a phonology/phonetics workshop, will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at UCSC.

PHREND will be an annual workshop serving as a forum to encourage collaboration among students and faculty. Affiliates of institutions in the greater Bay Area will be invited to present the results of their phonology/phonetics research.
